On Friday November 2, 2001 former players friends and family came together to pay tribute to Coach Willie Jeffries who lead the Bison as Head Football coach from 1984 through 1988.
Through
five committed seasons, a MEAC title and a Black College National Championship,
your comedic genius, knowledge, and discipline transformed us from boys to men.
You “set the tone” early in our lives, giving us the foundation necessary to
succeed in the game of life. For these reasons and many more, WE LOVE YOU!
